About this class

If you have been intimidated by chairs and have never made one this is a class for you. Surprisingly simple this is a class for the woodworker that wants to make a full set of dining room side chairs. Make one chair in our class, complete with all the joints and assemble, glued together. Then also make all the jigs and patterns that are necessary to make the rest of the chairs in your own shop at home. This light weight, yet extra strong and a classic design, and of course, comfortable for sitting. It does require an upholstered slip seat which in not included. White oak is usually the choice of wood for this chair, but students choice of wood is preferred so call Dale for ordering and discussion*.
