About this class

What is Greene & Greene? By the time you are on this page you already know, but if not search online for information and you might be looking at your screen for many enjoyable hours. Brothers Charles and Henry Greene were architects from the midwest that relocated in California to become (eventually) world famous in the American Arts & Crafts movement. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end and many have their own ideas how that happened. But if you are interested you can begin your Greene & Greene study by clicking here. There are also many beautiful and informative books covering the careers and architecture of the Greene brothers. This Greene & Greene inspired blanket chest was inside Dale’s mind for a long time. During decades of building Greene & Greene inspired reproductions in furniture, kitchens and anything else you can think of lots of design ideas have been developed but no time to build them. Finally found the time! Dale now has his new blanket chest design ready to share with students.

You will learn essential elements of Greene & Greene style as well as take home a beautiful blanket chest.
