About this class

A Dale Barnard original design, this coffee table was inspired by Robinson House Dining Table, a Greene and Greene masterpiece. You might wonder at the Tsuba DVD in picture. Charles Greene was fascinated by the Japanese sword guard, typically elaborately decorated and made of steel called Tsuba. As were both Greene Brothers of their innovative mixture of Japanese influence into their own design. If you study the Greene’s architecture, you see the tsuba shape flowing from light switch plates to tabletop.
