About this class
You can build this perfect Arts & Crafts accent table to use as a plant stand or just to admire in the center of the room. Today Charles P. Limbert is perhaps not as well know as other American Arts & Crafts period furniture makers, but his distinctive and decorative cutouts using circles, hearts, spades, etc. is favored by many. His work is among the best in joinery techniques and was chosen to outfit the Old Faithful Inn at Yellowstone National Park in 1906 to match the rustic resort architecture. Many of Limbert’s furniture pieces are popular in the current Arts and Crafts Revival. Over the years, Dale has been commissioned to make several Limbert (inspired) tables and finds this one a good example that will teach students about the furniture maker and the unique characteristics of his furniture.
