Dale, a third-generation woodworker, teaches you how to build heirloom-quality furniture in many styles – Arts and Crafts, Mission, Shaker, Victorian.
You’ll be treated like family as Dale shares his deep experience, tips and humor about woodworking. Dale’s goal is to build your confidence in craftsmanship as you create beautiful furniture and learn new skills. You’ll create the highest quality furniture for much less than retail prices.
Immerse yourself in the experience
Of course, you can’t learn a lifetime of experience in days or weeks, but you can certainly develop your skills, train under someone who has spent a lifetime gaining experience, have fun, and meet other woodworkers like yourself.
The Cabinetmaker’s Woodworking School offers:
- Serene location in the middle of 88-acre woods
- Shop with a wood floor
- Central dust collection: no bags to empty!
- Wide-belt sander
- Saw-stop table saw, Powermatic 66
- Table saw
- Air conditioning
- 16” Jointer (Helical Head)
- 20” Planer (Helical Head)
- 20” band saw
- Smoke Free environment
Return home with a piece of fine furniture made by you! Not to mention the skills you have learned and the good experience of gathering with new and old friends. The satisfaction of making something useful and beautiful cannot be described, only experienced.
All classes are limited to four students to provide one-on-one instructions for true woodworking.
Classes range in variety, skill level, and length to match the student.

“ I have a Morris Chair in my home that I built in Dale’s class.
I was an absolute beginner. He taught me everything I know. I am so proud of it and my wife is proud of me. It is an heirloom that I will pass on to my daughter one day. ”
